These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Video Alpha (the "Service"), operated by Stonefield Pte. Ltd.("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

Video Alpha is a software service that processes user-submitted YouTube video URLs and channel URLs to generate summaries, metadata, and structured information for research and informational purposes.

The Service:

  • Does not host, store, or redistribute original video or audio content
  • Does not verify, validate, or interpret the accuracy of third-party content
  • Operates only at the direction of the user

2. No Financial or Professional Advice

The Service does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice.

All outputs:

  • Are summaries or extractions of statements made by third-party content creators
  • Are provided for informational and research purposes only

You are solely responsible for how you use the information provided by the Service.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring you have the right to submit URLs or content to the Service
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Using the Service in a lawful, non-abusive manner

You must not:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service
  • Use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights
  • Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or harmful purposes

4. Third-Party Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership

All third-party content, including videos, thumbnails, titles, channel names, and creator avatars, remains the property of their respective owners.

Video Alpha does not claim ownership over:

  • Original videos or audio
  • Creator opinions, expressions, or research
  • Third-party intellectual property

4.2 Transformative Use

The Service generates transformative summaries and metadata based on user-directed requests.

We do not:

  • Host original video or audio files
  • Reproduce transcripts verbatim at scale
  • Substitute for the original content

References or links to original sources may be provided for attribution and user convenience.

4.3 Thumbnails and Avatars

Video thumbnails and channel avatars may be displayed or cached solely for identification and reference purposes.

They are:

  • Shown in context
  • Attributed to their original source
  • Not treated as independent or downloadable assets

5. Copyright Complaints and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid copyright complaints.

If you believe that specific content available through the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice that includes:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the specific content identified.

Submitting a complaint affects only the specific content identified and does not impact the availability of the Service as a whole.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to process such content solely to operate and provide the Service.

7. Commercial Use of Outputs

You may use summaries and outputs generated by the Service for commercial or professional purposes.

This permission does not grant any rights to:

  • Original third-party content
  • Videos, thumbnails, or creator intellectual property

8. Accounts and Termination

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Remove content
  • Restrict access to the Service

If we determine that use of the Service:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Poses legal, security, or operational risk
  • Involves abuse or misuse

Termination may occur with or without prior notice.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Update the Service
  • Change these Terms from time to time

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of outputs
  • Use of the Service is at your own risk

Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid by you to use the Service in the preceding 12 months.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.
